Well looks like Red Crimson has been busy these past couple of days. He's managed to (sort of) restore the motorbike stages. He asked me to come on YIM. Unfortunately when he did so, I was asleep or at least trying to be.

Edit: He's somewhat restored the motorbike stage animations. however there are a few that are probably still missing. Also, Since for whatever the reason, you start the level off with almost no health. one barrel will kill you. and then cause massive slow down even worse than when no sprites are displayed at all.

Download Red Crimson's hack here. Note: only Axel's animations have been fixed the other characters are unchanged at this time.

Also you still have to hack your way there. (i.e savestates from SORonline) He hasn't found the level starting flags yet As far as I know.

Edit2: Interesting. When the truck pulls alongside you, and you are at the correct angle, Axel will automatically dodge the knives being thrown at him.

As a side note. Axel will look like he's humping the motorbike if you hold down A,B, or C. I think that animation is supposed to go into the wheely animation but it can't because its one of the animations that Red Crimson hasn't found yet.

This hack has made me realize the true behavior of the Motorbike stages even more. Feel free to report this to bomberlink if you wish. Download the hack and try it out for more cool things.

Edit 3: Just tried the wasteland stage. It turns out that you can beat up the punks on the motorcycles here. Axel does that humping animation thing next to them. I'm assuming he's raming their bike with his bike.

I know I figured that out. You ram into people as an attack. And your character will dodge Donovan's knives without you pressing a button. Its awesome.

Cool man.

Im lovin the wastelands stage, die too early on the bridge lol Seems Axel auto dodges because the speed up/slow down function doesnt work which woulda let ya go further off the edge

ok i figure out how not to slow down after dying, since axel is the only player to work properly you must both be axel. keep in mind two things
1. player 1 is at the bottom for what ever fucking reason so don't go up
2. DO NOT GRAB THE OTHER PLAYER don't do it!
3. if hit a second time you fall of and the bike and the normal bike frame disappear. hold forward from this point. unfortunately i cant find a way to bring back the frame.

edit: ok I figured out a few things, when you die you come back on the bike and everything's fine but only in 2p with double axel, in 1p you come back on the bike but its slowed down with no reversal. if you are knocked off or grab each other you end up back on foot having to hold forward for the stage to work properly BUT if 2nd player were to get a game over 1p mode would work just like 2p mode and you don't have to worry about slow down even when knocked off. *holding forward!*

I'm going to be uploading a couple of HD Youtube videos of the stages. (I don't care if SOR doesn't look good in HD or not. I'm doing it sidd! =P)

I managed to figure out the secret to beating the Bridge stage without using save states and without dying. Count the barrels in each wave as the come when the truck is off screen. Usually Donovan will launch seven barrels in a row at you.

for the first wave of barrels wait for the first barrel to bounce off screen. Then qucikly go all the way up to the top of the road to avoid getting hit by the second barrel and count each barrel that comes starting with two since its the second barrel that just flew by. Keep hugging the top of the screen until just after the sixth barrel passes you. Then before the seventh one can hit you go down to the very bottom of the screen and then Donovan will appear in the truck and kick two barrels at you. Just stay at the bottom of the screen.

After the truck leaves view, Barrel wave 2 will come at you stay at the bottom of the screen until the first barrel passes you then quickly go up to the top of the screen. Around barrel 6 move down to the bottom of the screen before the seventh and either barrels hit you. Donovan will pull along side of you and throw the knives. Stay close to the truck while Donovan throws them and Axel will auto dodge them all.

After this part. The final Wave of barrels will start up. Use the same pattern above. There might be a couple of different spots the barrels appear in than they did in previous waves. There are about 8. Avoid barrel 7 and 8 by moving to the top of the screen. ( It think)

Maybe that was Cosmo. You both complain about things concerning BKIII a lot and sometimes its hard to remember who said what. My bad. =P

This video was a pain. It practically made me stay up until 2:00 in the morning and I ended up waking up at around 2:33 in the fucking afternoon! I'm waaaaay behind schedule in other words.

I had to use Save states a couple of times because I got hit so yeah, its not a perfect run like the bridge stage but its still a decent one.
